With a classical Out of Africa setting, Satao consists of 20 east African safari tents with bush style showers and a feeling of the true safari experience of a bygone era. Nestled beneath old Tamarind trees, the location is unique, overlooking a popular waterhole. Guests will be honored to view breeding herds of Elephants coming for their daily water drink and playing in the water. The camp has a dining room, reception and gift shop for those wanting to take a little piece of Africa back with them. There is also an observation tower overlooking the waterhole for a better view of the wildlife that turns up to visit. The atmosphere is personal and friendly with excellent service. Relax around the campfire after dinner, beneath a blanket of stars, with the African bush sounds of the nocturnal creatures. A sound like no other.
